Catherine Lapointe loves a sense of community. She wants to bring the best parts of it to light. She draws from the power of childhood and the poetry of the everyday. She has taught first grade for almost twenty years. Her class attests to her love of books and nature. Her students play hopscotch, go adventuring, build bridges. Buddies is her first picture book.
