We all knew Olivier Chéné was a great illustrator. Much to our delight, he’s also an original and impudent writer!

Themes: wolf, rabbit, betrayal, dark humor
The book

It’s nine o’clock on Monday morning, and Wolf is hungry. Once again, he slept through his alarm clock, and once again, he’s running late. His would-be breakfasts have all gone to work!
A story of trickery, betrayal, and deceiving appearances starring the carrot, the bad, and the ugly…

THE AUTHOR: Born in 1978 in Cholet, Olivier Chéné spent his childhood in the Limousin region. After studies in the applied arts at La Souterraine and then Paris (at Olivier de Serres and Arts Déco), he moved to the Nantes area. For some time now, he has divided his time between 3D illustration and children’s illustration, striking a balance between the former’s precision and the latter’s freedom. For children’s books, he leaves his tablet and computer behind, preferring paper, watercolors, and colored pencils. For D’eux, he illustrated The Incredible Elijah Betz, Punk Christmas Reindeer (2019).
