Ascane was chosen to become the unicorn keeper for the king of Ampleterre, much to the chagrin of Séber, the gruff master unicorn keeper, who did not want a girl among his apprentices. He entrusted her with a wild unicorn, a wounded, furious, and untamable male. But Ascane has inherited from her grandfather the gift of communicating with unicorns and establishing an extraordinary bond with them: the Union. When the tribe of Meteor, the unicorn united with Ascane, is kidnapped by enemies of the kingdom of Ampleterre, the unicorn riders leave the fortress and set out to find her. They will have to face the people of the Forbidden Enclave, a soul breaker, and defeat the treacherous ruler of the kingdom of Kaltesland, Nagar.
Nagar then carries out his threats: he transforms the peasants of Ampleterre and even some inhabitants of the Fortress into werewolves. Accompanied by Meteor, Ascane manages to flee with the mage and the queen of the Enclave. Together, they will thwart Nagar’s plans and confront him and his werewolves.
