Sophie Marvaud’s time machine runs on a clever, erudite combination of imagination and exacting research.

Her prehistoric thrillers include Meurtre chez les Magdaléniens (Murder Among the Magdalinians, Éditions du Patrimoine and Nouveau monde édition) and Le Choc de Carnac (The Shock of Carnac, Prix Préhistoire 2015). She has also written YA historical adventures—Le Secret des cartographes (The Mapmakers’ Secret, Prix Saint-Maur for paperback, three volumes from Plon and Livre de poche) and Suzie la rebelle dans la Grande Guerre (Suzie the Rebel in the Great War, Nouveau monde)—as well as several works for young readers, including the historical adventure series Le Château des fantômes (The Castle of Ghosts, Adabam) and Les Justiciers de l’Histoire (History’s Vigilantes, Tautem).
