Le Genévrier

Le Genévrier, an independent publishing house that takes its name from the title of one of the Brothers Grimm’s most beautiful fairy tales, initially focused, through its Caldecott collection, on offering a selection of the best American picture books. Over time, since the company’s founding in 2010, its new releases program has shifted, first in the Ivoire collection, to give increasing prominence to works by established French authors such as Bruno Heitz, Sara, Voutch, and Gilles Rapaport. More recently, the company has also featured talented young artists whose artistic talents have been showcased in the “Carte blanche” collection, created specifically for this purpose: Motomitsu Maehara, Emilia Conesa, Elsa Ohana, Paul Testelin, Charlotte Moreau, Fabienne Pontoire…
