Talents Hauts
Since it was founded in 2005, Talents Hauts has been committed to discovering and promoting talented people in the field of children’s literature, including emerging writers, established authors and illustrators, as well as those who have been overlooked.
As an independent publishing house, Talents Hauts specialises in challenging stereotypes, particularly sexist ones. The company continues its work by organising a writing competition called Lire Égaux, as well as exhibitions, conferences and training courses.
The company publishes around 20 new titles a year, including picture books, novels for children, teenagers and adults, as well as non-fiction titles. As a strong “backlist” publisher, almost two-thirds of the 400 titles published are still available and read everywhere in the world!
