As an only child, Ghislain struggles to be what is expected of him: a good student, masculine, and above all, heterosexual.
Faced with his mediocre high school grades, his father pushes him to train as an electrician, a real man’s job. After spending his days hiding wires and installing outlets, Ghislain spends his evenings in gay bars where he has his first sexual experiences. When his father finds out, he kicks him out of the house. With the support of his boyfriend, Ghislain decides to try to reconnect with his parents.
But when his father refuses to speak to him, Ghislain has to overcome a strong urge to kill him. Disappointed but liberated, he leaves for good, ready to take control of his life and be proud of who he is.
