Welcoming a New Student Like No Other: A Heartwarming and Fair Lesson in Inclusion.
It’s the first day of school. This year, in Jojo the Squirrel’s class, there’s a new student: Finn. Finn is a little octopus who lives in a jar. In the classroom, a woman named Méline is there to help him. As the day goes on, Jojo gets annoyed: Finn doesn’t answer when spoken to, doesn’t follow the class rules, and spends his time drawing stick figures. Really, he doesn’t do anything like the others. At the park after school, Jojo falls into the pond while trying to retrieve his boat. Guess who comes to his rescue? Finn, of course! Jojo realizes: Finn is simply in his own little world.
