In the Amazon rainforest, a tribe living according to ancestral rites crosses the path of a deforestation company’s bulldozers.
Surprised by the presence of these indigenous people, who question the progress of their work, the company’s men massacre the tribe. Two sisters, Loca and Daboka, are spared and taken to the camp where they are looked after by Rosa, the wife of one of the workers. Thanks to the intervention of a medical team and an Indian woman, Mayta, the two sisters are evacuated to a “civilized” family. Loca, the youngest of the sisters, is adapting to her new life and new language. Daboka, on the other hand, rejects everything that comes from those who killed her family, and has only one wish: to return to the forest to find a cousin tribe and regain her freedom and her life. With Mayta’s help, Daboka manages to escape with her sister.
