In the car with her mother on the way to the hospital, 15-year-old Pia recalls the events leading up to this moment: on vacation by the sea, she and her cousin Marthe sneak out of their tent and away from their parents’ supervision to spend the night at a nightclub. There, Pia meets Nathan, and it’s love at first sight. Her desire for him and her urge to enjoy the moment to the fullest lead her to have sex with him for the first time on the beach. The next day, she is heartbroken when she realizes that their relationship was just a one-night stand for Nathan. As the vacation ends and she begins to recover thanks to the support of her friend Baptiste, who is also experiencing heartbreak, Pia discovers that she is pregnant. With the support of her friends and her mother, she decides to have an abortion.
