Éditions à la gomme

In 2016, illustrator and ceramicist Modeste Madoré founded Les Éditions à la gomme to expand his colorful world of animal characters into educational games for children. Three years later, this collection of games had met with such success that he felt heartened and inspired to venture into publishing works for children: initially his own projects, and then a number of picture books written with his partner, author Joëlle Ecormier.
The selection on offer from Les Éditions à la gomme is aimed at encouraging early readers discover the world in joyful and playful ways, as well as helping older children grow in harmony with their peers.
Based on Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean, Les Éditions à la gomme reflects the flamboyance of color and diversity of fauna and flora for which the island is famous.
