But Brune reveals little about herself, except when her emotions plunge her into crises that leave her gasping for breath.
Despite their love for each other, one evening Brune slams the apartment door after throwing this sentence at Yannick: “You don’t understand anything!” Initially stunned, the young woman eventually admits that during the months she spent with Brune, she chose to see only her partner’s good sides and to ignore what she preferred not to see: her difference. Brune is autistic, and now Yannick is ready to face up to this and reconnect with her, completely.
